Heavy-Duty, Heavy-Load Storage Cabinets offer the best value
in high-capacity, industrial storage. Fully welded construction
in rugged 16-gauge steel with 18-gauge double-walled doors and
heavy 14-gauge floor offers exceptional strength and durability.
Stylish Sure-Grip® flush-mounted handle provides easy
fingertip operation. Exclusive gripper pad offers a secure hold
when opening the door. Patented 3-point, combination latching
system with self-latching handle assures secure closure every
time. If center bullet latch is "violated", top and
bottom of unit remain latched. Full length piano hinge provides
smooth door operation. Double wall steel construction of doors
adds rigidity and protects the latching mechanism from damage...
no need to worry about moving parts "catching" onto
contents. Outstanding security features include keyed lock,
heavy-weight latch rod and pry-resistant doors with overlapping
astragal.
Heavy 14-gauge galvanized steel shelves each carry a total safe
allowable uniform load of 1,000 lbs. when evenly distributed over
the length and width of the shelf. Guard Master™
Heavy-Duty, Heavy-Load cabinets are rated at up to 5,000 lb.
based on loading four shelves and the cabinet bottom. These load
ratings are tested in accordance with AISI. Galvanized shelves
offer superior scratch, corrosion, oil and chemical resistance
and adjust on 2" centers. Welded shelf hangers allow shelves
to be bolted in place. Adjustable leg levelers provide stability
on uneven surfaces. Premium paint is textured to hide smudges and
fingerprints. Choice of Weathered Iron or Sand color
finish.
